Tehran, Iran, Sep. 17 –
Dozens of brick mill workers from the town of Pakdasht, in
the suburbs of the Iranian capital, demonstrated outside the
government-owned House of Labour building on
Friday in protest to overdue wages.
The workers said that they had not received their salaries for nearly five
months adding that they had been informed by their employers that their
salaries would be cut by a third.
They also claimed that despite repeated requests to authorities, they had
not received any help in the matter.
