Iranian man was hanged in the town of Iranshahr, in Iranís
south-eastern BaluchistanProvince, a
semi-official daily reported on Sunday.
The man, identified as HoushangBameri, was hanged at Saturday morning, the hard-line JomhouriIslami wrote. He was accused of killing two para-military security agents.
BaluchistanProvince, home to Iranís minority Baluchis, has witnessed a string of clashes between
government troops and insurgents in recent months. Baluchis,
unlike Iranís Shiite
clerical rulers, adhere to the Sunni branch of Islam.
