19.01.2017-\u00a0Donald Trump, the new President of the United States will soon implement the violently sexist, lesbophobic, homophobic, xenophobic and racist ideology he defended during his campaign.<\/span>On January 21st, 2017, after he will be sworn in as the new US president, women\u2019s rights and human rights organisations will march against this archaic ideology, to defend the rights of American women and women\u2019s rights all over the world. The main march will take place in Washington. So far, more than 600 “sister marches” are being organised everywhere.<\/p>\n The whole world is mobilising as the new president of the United States is getting prepared to implement the violently sexist, lesbophobic, homophobic, xenophobic and racist ideology he defended during his campaign. His choice for the Supreme Court is William Pryor, a judge who considers abortion to be “the worst abomination” in legal history. His vice president, Mike Pence, openly espouses creationist ideas. His main advisor, Steve Bannon, publishes hateful racist and misogynist messages on his website. He also wants to destroy ObamaCare, the health insurance law.<\/p>\n This reactionary policy at work today in the United States is the concretization of a much wider phenomenon in the world. Conservative political parties, pro-life and religious groups regularly challenge women\u2019s rights, including sexual and reproductive rights, which are core rights for the emancipation of women.<\/p>\n On January 21st, we will march in Washington, Medellin, Durban, Riyad, Belgrade, Kolkata or Osaka in solidarity with American women, because defending women\u2019s rights in the United States is defending women\u2019s rights all over the world. We will march against incitement to hatred, sexist attitudes, discrimination, misogyny and patriarchy.
