The men had been imprisoned earlier this month.<br \/>\n<!--more-->Their release from custody follows protests to the Iranian government by both organisations (see http:\/\/goo.gl\/khlG5s) and a Labourstart campaign demanding their freedom (see http:\/\/goo.gl\/WrEb1S). The ITF and ITUC continue to campaign for the dismissal of the trumped up charges made against the men for carrying out lawful trade union activities, as well as for the release of Mahmoud Salehi.
