Iran-Human
Rights-Judiciary April
10, IRNA
Various aspects
of human rights
are properly
observed and
respected in
Iran despite
biased
propaganda of
enemies,
Judiciary Chief,
Ayatollah
Mahmoud Hashemi
Shahroudi, said
in Qatar on
Wednesday.
"The world
arrogance is
always trying to
portrait Iran as
a country that
violates
principles of
human rights,"
the ayatollah
told reporters
in that Arab
state of the
Persian Gulf
region.
Ayatollah
Shahroudi
arrived in Doha
on Tuesday on a
three-day
official visit.
"Different
aspects of human
rights, those of
the women,
children and
even the
offenders, are
respected in
Iran more than
many other world
states," he said.
He invited
representatives
of foreign mass
media to visit
Iran to become
closely familiar
with the
country's
realities in the
field of human
rights based on
Islamic values.
Shahroudi
said that
efforts made by
enemies to
portrait Iran as
a country with
poor records of
human rights
respect, were
part of a
greater plan
against the
world of Islam
and in line with
their efforts to
insult Muslims'
sanctities.
