Student: Arrested
1) Habib Allah Latifi, a student from Sanandaj , was arrested by security guards. (Kurdistan’s Human Rights Organization, 2007.Oct.25)
2) Roozbeh Mosavi, editor in chief of the banned magazine ‘Alternative’ , Javad Alikhani, Rai Nikzad, Mehdi Masoomi, Javad Tavaloli and Fatemeh Fatemeh Farhadi, Ahvaz Chamran University’s students were arrested by security guards for acting against the national security. (Amir Kabir.2007.Oct.26)
3) 11 female and 21 male students were arrested by Karaj police guards for participating in a party. The arrested were all Tehran University’s student celebrating one of their classmate’s successes in a world-wild competition. (isna.2007.Nov.3)
4) Masoomeh Mansoori, Amir Kabir University’s student was arrested in 25th October. Mohammad Ali Mansoori, her father was also arrested in September by security guards. The guards had threatened her brother to be arrested on spreading her arrestment news. (Amir Kabir.2007.Nov.3)
5) Ali Azizi, member of Daftar Tahkim Vahdat central council was arrested by security guards and his father’s house was inspected. (Advar news.2007.Nov.5)
6) Pedram Rafati, Amir Kabir University’s student was arrested by security guards. (Advar news.2007.Nov.7)
7) Ali Nikonesbati,Ghom Township’s mofid university’s student and member of Daftar Tahkim Vahdat central council was arrested by security guards ,his house was inspected and his personal belongings were banned. (Advar news.2007.Nov.8)
8) Arman Sedaghati, Amir Kabir university’s Islamic association’s member, Behnam Sepehrmand, Tehran university’s student and Daftar Tahkim Vahdat public council’s member and Maziar Samii ,Tabatabai University’s student ,participant in a student gathering were arrested by security guards. 9) Mahmood Ahmadinejad, Iranian president, had made a speech in shut down university of Elm va Sanat for other universities’ students, transported there by buses.3 students of the Amir Kabir and Khajeh Nasir universities Islamic associations’ members were arrested by security guards. 10) The student magazine ‘Addim’ published by the Garmi Township’s university students was banned by the Supervisory committee on students’ publication. (Savalan Sesi.2007.Oct.25)
11) The student magazine ‘Ghalam’ with the editor in charge of Masoomeh Shafii was collected Basij members in Tehran Azad university. They had published photos of the arrested students; Ehsan Mansoori, majid Tavakoli and Ahmad Ghasaban (Student committee of human right’s reporters.2007.Nov.7)

12) Najmeh Mosavi,Siavash Hatam ,Amin Nazari ,Reza Jafarian and Mohammad Sayadi ,the student activists of Hamedan University were summoned to disciplinary committee for insulting Ahmadinejad’s government. (Advar News.2007.Oct.23)
13) Mojtaba Taghavinejad, Nima Rezai,Mohammad Baghernia and Hakim Taghizadeh, Yasooj University’s students were interrogated in disciplinary committee’s office for disturbing public opinion. They were released on bail. (Isna.2007.Oct.24)
14) Sajad Salmanzadeh, editor in charge of the banned magazine’ Alternative, Mohammad Amin Andalibi and Zahra Ebrahimi, Ahvaz, Chamran university’s students were interrogated in province security office. (Amir Kabir.2007.Oct.26)

18) Babak Zamanian, public relation in charge of the Amir Kabir University’s Islamic association was

19) Fahimeh Mirlohi, Javad Safdari and Ashkan Madani ,Shahrood university’s student were interrogated in disciplinary committee for cooperating with opposed groups, making illegal gatherings and publishing statements. (Advar news.2007.Nov.11)
20) Mehdi Alahyari,Sharif university’s master student and editor in charge of student magazine ‘Tolo’ was

21) Soleiman Mohammadi, Tabatabai University’s student, sentenced to 3 semester suspended education in disciplinary committee was interrogated in revolutionary court. Also 6 students of this University were summoned to disciplinary committee. (Advar news.2007.Nov.14)
22) Ehasan Mansoori,Majid Tavakoli and Ahmad Ghasaban ,prisoner students of Amir Kabir university were tried for the second time .they were sentenced to 2,2/5 and 3 years imprisonment for insulting authorities and propaganda against the state. (Isna.2007.Nov.20)

24) In a free students’ rostrum,”Stars in Evin prison”, objecting the imprisonment sentences for Amir Kabir
university’s students, Abbas Hakimzadeh,Ali Saberi, Majid Sheikhpoor, Asghar Sepehri,Mahyar Abdalsamadi,Mojtaba Kalantari Poyyan Mahmoodian, Nariman Mostafavi and Koorosh Daneshyar were barred of entering university, also Mohammad Reza Sarlak,Hadi Palavar, Mehdi Mashayeki and some other students were summoned to disciplinary committee. 29) Farkhondeh Bakhtiyar Zadeh, member of Islamic association’s central council of Sharood University was

31) Supervisory committee on shahr Kurd University had banned the speech session of AhmadGhabel, Mohsen Kadivar and Mohammad Bastehnegar. (Isna.2007.Oct.23)
32) The Book shops: Saless, Vanak Shahr Ketab, Ketab Roshan ,Daroos and Badragheh Javidan were plumbed in Tehran. Saless coffee-book shop had started to work 5 years ago. 41) Seasonal cultural-philosophical magazine ‘Madreseh’ with the editor in charge of Hossein Khosroshahi and head clerk of Jalal Tavakolian was banned and its permit was cancelled. They were charged with publishing articles against Islamic believes and propaganda against state. (Isna.2007.Nov.6)

56) Arash Bahmani,member of ‘Gilan Behtar’ editorial staff magazine was sentenced to 16 months imprisonment in Rasht province’s penal court. He was charged with blasphemy and publishing lies for disturbing public opinion. Babak Mehdi zade, the other member of the mentioned magazine was sentenced to 4 months imprisonment. 60) The Sunnite mosque in Bojnord Town ship was demolished by security guards over one night. Sentence was issued by clergy court. Imam and workers of the mosque were arrested. (Mizan News.2007.Nov.10)
61) Mohamadieh school, in Zabool , one of the biggest Sunnite school in Iran was occupied by security guards. They had shoot and arrested the clergies teaching and studying there. (Mizan News.2007.Nov.10)

71) Mehrnoosh Soloki, 38, French- Iranian film maker was tried in Tehran revolutionary court, branch no.15.she was charged with propaganda against state. 72) Sohrab Razaghi, plumbed organization ‘Koneshgaran Davtalab’s director ,former Tabatabai University’s professor and director of state’s ministry’s NGO’s in Khatami’s government was arrested by security guards. 73) Salah Maroofi Baneh Township’s Quran teacher was arrested by security guards. He was interrogated several times, charging with propaganda for’ Maktab Quran’ and Ahmad Moftizadeh’s opinions.

78) Hoshang Mazaheri, “Esfahan City of the International Faces” author was arrested by security guards and was transferred to Esfahan prison. He was charged with propaganda against sate, blasphemy, insulting Khomeini and Khamenei and publishing lies. His book was published by permission but few months ago was gathered and kneads. 79) Abdallah Heidarian, shokrallah Heidari, Kamal Yousefi and Shoresh Ahmadi who were arrested recently by security guards were transferred to Sanandaj’s security office. They were battered severely by guards.

81) Esmail Shadi,teacher, parviz Satari ,student ,Khabat Yousefi ,student and hoshyar Shabadi were arrested by Kermanshah security guards and transferred to isolated cell. (Human rights and democracy activists in Iran.2007.Nov.19)
82) Mostafa Daneshjo, Gonabadi dervishes’ counsellor, who was treated several times, was beaten and arrested in Karaj. The dervishes who were trying to help him were also beaten. (Mizan News.2007.Nov.20)

83) Jalal Raofi, Baneh Township’s teacher, was fired from Kurdistan’s training system with the charge of propaganda against state and disregarding Islamic rules. He was treated several times before by security guards. (Kurdistan’s Human Rights defence Organization, 2007.Oct.25)
84) Asgar Akbarzadeh ,Ardebil university student and Mansor Jedi, retired employee and Azerbaijan’s national movement activist were each sentenced to 4 months imprisonment in Ardebil public court, branch no.105.they were charged with propaganda against state. (Savalan Sesi.2007.Oct.25)
85) Ramin Bahram Nejad ,Siamak Tavasoli and Hasan Balai the Azerbaijan’s national movement activists were sentenced to 80 lashes in Tabriz revolutionary court. They were charged with participating in public objection in June 2006.Their sentence was executed. (Savalan Sesi.2007.Oct.27)

87) Behrooz Javid Tehrani, political prisoners, passing his conviction period was tried and sentenced to3 years imprisonment without having attorney in Tehran revolutionary court, branch no.15.He was charged with having relation with opposed parties, writing slogans and insulting Khamenei. 88) Hamid Majiri, member of teachers ‘trade union of Esfehan’s Khomeini shahr, was sentenced to 3 years banishment to Yazd province. He was charged with persuading others to making gathering, participating in illegal gathering in working hours. (Iranian Teachers’ trade union.2007.Nov.8)

90) Aref Abdallahzadeh was sentenced to 3/5 years imprisonment in Saghez revolutionary court. He was charged with cooperating with opposed parties and illegal passing of the boarders. 91) Havari Keikhosravi, human right activist, was tried without attorney and was sentenced to 15 months imprisonment. He was charged with acting against security of state, propaganda against state, disturbing public order, making illegal gathering and having relation with opposed parties. 92) Mohammad Karim Zarei and Mohammad Moradi, accused for Naser Bigdeli’s terror were sentenced to 15 and 20 years imprisonment in Sanandaj revolutionary court. They were arrested in June 2007 and were kept in isolated cells for 75 days. They were banished to Tabas and Masjed Soleiman prisons.It should be mentioned that the other accused of the case, Nader and Teimoor Mohammadi were executed last months with Supreme Court’s confirmation. 94) Saeed Matinpoor,journalist and human right activist arrested in June 16 by security guards in Zanjan,is still deprived of visiting his family or having an attorney . (Savalan Sesi.2007.Oct.25)
95) Sepideh Poor Aghai, human right’s activist and Ghasem Shirzadian, web log writer was interrogated in revolutionary court. He was charged with propaganda against state, making illegal gathering and participating in them. Mansoor Faraji ,Abbas Khorsandi ,Meisam Roodaki and Bahram Rasekhifar, political activists were interrogated for acting against the security of state. They were in isolated cells since September 8. 96) Javad Hassanpoor, Azerbaijan’s nation movement activist was released on 20.000$ bail after 50 days detention in Ahar township. (Savalan Sesi.2007.Oct.25)
97) Mohammad Sedigh Kaboodvand, Kurdistan ‘s human right’s defence organization’s head ,in detention for last for months in Evin ,chain 209,is under pressure by security guards for dissolving the organization. Shirin Ebadi, his counsellor could not visit or read his case, yet. He has to write an official letter and ask for permission for using toilet, each time. 98) Mohammad Nikbakht, Mujahedin organization’s member, sentenced to 8 years imprisonment in Isfahan revolutionary court in 2003, was transferred to isolated cell. He was sentenced to one year imprisonment while being in prison for propaganda against state. His 67 years old father, affected with cancer is also arrested. 99) Mothers of prisoners Ronak Safarzadeh, women movement activist and Yaser Goli, student activist, were beaten in Sanandaj court, while were there asking for their son and daughter’s situation. (Zanestan.2007.Nov.1)

101) Heshmat Allah Tabarzadi, chief secretary of ‘Iran’s Democratic Party’ who was out of prison with the condition of being inactive, was against arrested and transferred to prison.
