Student News
1) Follow the Amir Kabir University Islamic association central councils ’members’ strike in university’s mosque, demanding making release of 8 arrested students, 30 security guards had attacked and beaten students in midnight, by university’s head order. (Advar news.2007.June.26)
2) Group of Amir Kabir university’s students announced in a meeting with Khat-e- Emam assembly fraction: all university’s trade unions are dissolved.14 students’ magazines are banned. Students are summoned to disciplinary committees frequently. Also in this meeting family of 8 arrested students demand for releasing their sons or daughters. (Etemad Meli.2007.June.28)
3) Abbas Hakimzadeh’s brother in an interview with Farda Radio said: my sister is threatening by security guars for accompanying my mother following Abbase’s situation. His attorney said: his delegated is in isolated cell in Evin prison and he could not visit his family yet. (Amir Kabir News Letter.2007.July.16)
4) For releasing arrested students, Majid Sheikhpoor, Poyan Mahmodian, Meghdad Khalilpoor, Ali Saberi and Abbas Hakim Zadeh, the bail sentenced is issued by court. The amount is 80.000$ bail for each student. (Isna.2007.July.16)
5) Majid Tavakoli, Ahmad Gasaban and Ehsan Mansoori the Amir Kabir University’s arrested students are on strike since July 14th, objecting the pressures on them and their vague situation. (Amir Kabir News Letter.2007.July.16)
6) Security guard had inspected Bahareh Hedayat’s house and banned her CD’s, books, notes and her photo albums. She is member of Daftar-e Tahkim Vahdat central council and is in detention since 9 July. (Advar news.2007.July.15)
7) Abolfazl Jahandar, former member of Tabatabai’s university Islamic association was arrested in 2006 and is kept in Evin prison ,chain no.209 .he is on strike ,objecting not transferring him from this chain(Human rights activists in Iran. 2007. June.16)
8) Security guard had inspected Bahram Fayazi’s house and banned his CD’s, books, and notes. They had brought him with them. He is member of Danesh Amokhtegan-e-Iran organisation central council and is in detention since 9 July. (Advar news.2007.July.19)
9) Security guard had inspected Mohammad Hashemi’s house and banned his CD’s, books, personal computer and notes. They made videos of his house. He is member of Daftar-e Tahkim Vahdat central council and is in detention since 9 July. Ali Nikonesbati’s house, another member of the same organisation was also inspected. (Advar news.2007.July.22)
Student: arrested
10) 6 members of Daftar-e Tahkim Vahdat central council, who were gathered in Amir Kabir University for 18 Tir commemorations and for objecting arrestment of 8 students, were arrested by security guards. The arrested students name is as follow: Ali Vaghfi, mehdi Arabshahi, Hanif Yazdani, Ali Nikonesbati, Mohammad Hashemi and Bahareh Hedayat. (Isna..2007. July.9, 10)
11) Amir Yaghobali, Tabatabai University’s Islamic association was arrested in Andisheh Park by security guards and transferred to Evin prison. He was collecting signatures in park under the name of ‘Change for equality’. (Amir Kabir, news letter.2007.July.12)

12) Ali Abdi, the Sharif University Islamic association central councils’ member was interrogated in disciplinary committee for making illegal gathering in woman’s day. (Ilna..2007. June.23)
13) Sadegh Shojai, Tabatabai University Islamic association central councils’ member was interrogated in disciplinary committee for making disturbance and stimulating students. (Ilna.2007.June.24)
14) 10 female students of Tehran University were summoned to disciplinary committee for being inappropriately dressed. (Isna.2007.June.27)
15) Haniyeh Bordbar,Shima Farzadmanesh, Asal Akhavan,Maryam Seidkarimi,Ehsan Mohammadi,Emad Borghei, Sadegh Shojai, Amir Yaghobali and Saeed Feizallahzadeh the Tabatabai university’s students were interrogated in disciplinary committee for disturbing university’s order disobeying and insulting authorities. 17) Aso Saleh, student activist of Kurdistan University and member of ‘Didgah’ magazine’s editorial staff was tried in Sanandaj court. He was charged with acting against the national security, propaganda against the state, making illegal gathering, having relationship with oppositions. (Ilna.2007.June.24)
Students: Issued sentences
18) Fahimeh Shoja, the Tabatabai University Islamic association central councils’ member was suspended for one semester in disciplinary committee.(Ilna.2007.June.27)
19) Tabriz university students were condemned in disciplinary committees for making illegal gatherings and disturbing order. Naim Ahmadi,Babak Rahmati, Maghsood Ahdi, Faraz Zehtab, Aidin Khajei, Vahid
Dehghani, Hadi Bahadori,Aidin Ghafarnejad, Amin Emami and Ali Davar were suspended for two semester and Hamed Tofigh, Behnam Zali, Mansoor Aminian and Ebrahim Zeinali ,for one semester. (Advar news.2007.July.4)

25) Hassan Talebi, Meisam Golestani and Mohammad Sadeghi, former members of Isfahan University Islamic association were summoned to province revolutionary court, branch no.4,they were charged with propaganda against the State, making illegal gathering and insulting Khamenei. 26) Student magazine ‘Shora’ with editor in charge of Milad Moini was banned by the supervisory committee on students’ publication of Mazandaran university, for publishing news of students’ arrestment.(Ilna.2007.June.22)
27) The publication permit of the “Sarbedaran” magazine was nullified by the supervisory committee on students’ publication in Sistan-Baloochestan University. (Isna.2007.June.27)
28) Student magazine ‘Sobh’ with editor in charge of Elham Shahsavarzadeh was banned for 3 months by the

70) Security guards had attacked the main office of’ Danesh Amokhtegan Iran’s organisation and arrested 10 members. Authorities had confirmed plumbing the office .they were charged with participating in illegal gatherings, making illegal attempts and discusses.

78) Jamshid Lak,the Gonabad Dervish was sentenced to 6 months imprisonment,74 lashes and 100$ punishment, in Luristan Revision Court ,for insulting and publishing lies for disturbing public opinion.(Ilna.2007.June.27)

80) Mohammad Reza Faghihi, Audeh Faravi’s(Accused for Ahvaz bombardment) attorney said: he is sentenced to 20 years imprisonment and banishment to Ardebil prison in primary court with supreme court confirmation.(Isna.2007.June.29)

89) Mostafa Daryanavard and Reza Babasavar were sentenced to 18 and 6 months imprisonment, with the charge of propaganda against the state and having relation with opposed parties.(Human right defence committee in Iran. 2007. July.5)
90) Three teachers of Shahreza Township in Esfahan province were sent out or exiled to far provinces. They were charged with participating in Teachers’ objection in March 2006. (Isna.2007.july.18)
91) Abdalvahed Karimi, was sentenced to one year imprisonment, with the charge of propaganda against the state. He is in prison for last 6 months (Mokerian Weblog.2007.July.19)

92) Mohammad Ali Dadkhah, Abolfazl Jahandar’s attorney said, he has dangerous health situation and medical treatments should be done on him out of prison. This student activist was sentenced to 2/5 years imprisonment in Tehran Revolutionary court for acting against public security and illegal gatherings for disturbance security.(Ilna.2007.July.2)
93) Saeed Masori, political activist, under execution sentence, since 2000, was transferred to Evin prison’s security chain 3 years a go. (Student committee of human’s right reporters. 2007. July.2)
94) Mostafa Daryanavard, political prisoner who was on strike, asking to be transferred to political prisoners’ chain was threatened to beating, transferring to isolated cell and exiling to Gohardasht prison.(Human right defence committee in Iran 2007.July.5)
95) Avat Ghoreishi, Dara Ghoreishi and Abobakr Bapiri were sentenced to 4, 3 and 3 years imprisonment in exile. (Mokerian Weblog.2007.July.3)
96) Security guards had inspected Abdallah Momeni’s house. They had banned al his books, notes and his master theses. Guards had taken him with them with bracelets and he was so thin, tired and nervous, as her wife mentioned.(Advarnews.2007.July.19)
97) Ali Reza Karami Kheirabadi, security prisoners, is suffering from kidney disease .Although the prison hospital had confirmed his urgent need to an equipped hospital, the authorities anticipate his transfer. (Human right defence committee in Iran 2007.July.5)
98) Hamid Ghanavati and Reza partovi, the political activists, were arrested March 2006 by security guards in Ahvaz. Since the date their families could not meet them. . (Human right defence committee in Iran 2007.July.11)
99) Mohammad Sedigh Kaboodvand, editor in charge of the banned magazine ‘Payam-e-Mardom Kurdistan’ and Kurdistan human right defence committee’s head was arrested in his office and transferred to Evin prison, chain 209. 100) Mahmood Salehi, labour activist’s physical situation is so critical; he was in coma for 6 hours because of having pain. Guards refused sending him to hospital.( Kurdistan’s Human Rights Organization - RMMK, 2007.July17)
101) Yousef Molai,Mansour Osanloo’s attorney said, his delegated is arrested with charge of acting against national security and because his case is during initial researches we don’t have access to him or to his dossier.(Farda Radio.2007.July.20)
Political Prisoners: Missing
102) Esmail Azizi and Shahab Azizi, political activists, were arrested in February 2006 by security guards in Mahabadand .There is no record of him since the arrestment date. (Human right defence committee in Iran 2007.July.14)
103) Amir Janatabadi, 24, is lost for a month. He was arrested and threatened by security guards, several times before. (Student committee of human’s right. 2007. July.15)

104) Delaram Ali, women movement activist ,arrested in June 2006 gathering was sentenced to 34 months imprisonment and 10 lashes in Tehran revolutionary court, branch no.15 for acting against the national security, propaganda against the state, disturbing public order and participating in an illegal gathering. 106) Aliye Eghdamdoost, women movement activist ,arrested in June 2006 gathering was sentenced to 40 months imprisonment and 20 lashes in Tehran revolutionary court, branch no.15 , for acting against the national security, propaganda against the state, disturbing public order and participating in an illegal gathering.
